I first Met Brian many years ago when I first joined the natural history and he was always the man who knew everything there was to know about local wild life. I didn’t dream then that is would be me that would eventually take over when he finally had to give up the chairmanship because of bad health. I would like to say thank you from every one at the society for everything he did for how and everything he tried to teach us with his regular January talks, and also to say how much we will miss him.
